Coachella Announces 2012 Festival Line Up

Today, Coachella announced its much anticipated 2012 line up. Headliners for the three-day event are the Black Keys, Radiohead, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg but it is actually the other acts that are more interesting. Other interesting performers, and Culture Addicts faves are M83, The Horrors, EMA, Jacques Lu Cont, Metronomy and Wild Flag to name a few. There will also be two buzz-worthy band reunions – both getting back together for the festival are At the Drive-In and Refused. New for 2012, the festival will take place over two weekends (April 13-15 and April 20-22) with the line-up repeating twice over the two weekends.

Who do you want to see at the festival this year? View the full lineup in the poster below.

Music Video Addiction: Sunday December 4, 2011 Edition

Last week we were dancey, and this week we get a little rock’n’roll. We hope you enjoy this week’s music videos.

The Black Keys: Next Girl – can’t beat a dinosaur puppet in a video.

Peaches & Iggy Pop: Kick It – still love this grungy track.

Dirty Beaches: Lone Runner– very dark.

Surf City: Crazy Rulers of the World – modern shoegaze.

S.C.U.M: Faith Unfolds – they never disappoint.

Plastic Flowers: Strange Neighbors – moody, very early 80s sounding track.

We will be back next week with more music videos. Thanks for watching.

Thanks,

Another weekly installment of the music video picks. I hope you like the videos that have been inspiring us this week. Let us know what you think.

Modeselektor f/ Thom Yorke: Shipwreck – very cool frantic track.

The Black Keys: Lonely Boy – sounding a bit like the Cramps (which is good).

The Soft Moon: Total Decay – lovely, gloomy electronic.

Casiokids: Det Haster! – yet another catchy track by Casiokids.

The Kills: Baby Says – guitar cool.

White Lies: Holy Ghost – epic nouveau stadium rock.

We will be back next week with more music videos. Check back in or subscribe to our blog to remind you that new vids are up.
